TinoGo in ChatGPT
TinoGo publishes a plugin for ChatGPT that lets you ask what a taxi in Ulaanbaatar costs and, if you want the ride, opens the TinoGo app with the trip already filled in.
- What is sent to TinoGo: only the pickup and destination you describe in the chat, and — if you paste one — a trip share link a rider gave you. We use it to look up an address, price the trip and show the ride's status.
- What is not: the plugin cannot sign you in, see your TinoGo account, read your trip history or make a payment, and it has no access to your card details. Booking and payment happen in the TinoGo app, never in the chat. Asking for a price never books a ride or charges you.
- What we store: nothing from the conversation. Address lookups are held in memory on our server for up to a minute so repeated questions are faster; they are not written to disk or linked to you.
- Third parties: route and map images are generated by Mapbox from the coordinates of the trip you asked about. Your conversation is not sent to Mapbox, and OpenAI's handling of the chat itself is governed by their privacy policy.
- Shared trips: a trip status link works only while its rider chooses to share it, and shows the same details the rider sees on TinoGo's share page — driver's first name, vehicle, plate number and current position.
